Overview of the Program
Each year we invite a small group of newly admitted freshmen USC students to take part in USC’s Summer Bridge Program created to help ease the transition to college academic life at USC.
The USC Summer Bridge is a unique six-week program which has won praise from past participants. The program is designed to transition you from high school to college. The program provides a writing class, STEM preparatory workshops, six academic educational workshops, special co-curricular programs, and a strong sense of community. As a participant, you’ll have great teachers, meet other entering freshmen, benefit from peer mentors, and get a head-start with your courses. Due to the COVID-19 situation, there will not have a residential component at USC. Students with financial need receive full tuition coverage, course readers and e-books.
The 2021 USC Summer Bridge Program will begin Sunday, June 13 through Friday, July 30, 2021.
Enrollment Contracts will be emailed to invited students after May 1 and submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Programs by Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
